The export of residents of the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic has approached $200 million.

The Director of the High Technology Park, Azis Abakirov, reported that the exports carried out by the residents of this Park amounted to nearly $200 million, which is equivalent to approximately 17.1 billion soms.

According to him, the share of information technology exports reaches about 7% of the total volume of foreign economic activity in the country and nearly 1% of the gross domestic product.

Abakirov also noted that in terms of scale, this sector can already be compared to traditional industries such as the garment industry. The information technology industry is becoming a key element in the growth of Kyrgyzstan's export potential.

He added that the development of the High Technology Park contributes to the formation of a new export profile for the country, based on innovation and the capabilities of human capital.

The High Technology Park also noted that the sector continues to actively develop and attracts more and more technology companies and specialists from around the world.
