At a press conference dedicated to Kyrgyzstan's plans within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, the president of the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Danil Ibraev, emphasized that deepening integration within the EAEU will be a critical element for ensuring the stability of national economies in the face of global crises. He noted that the creation of unified markets for goods, finance, and energy resources will provide domestic companies with equal conditions for competition with union partners and significantly reduce costs.
Particular attention was paid to the energy sector. Ibraev explained that the launch of a unified energy resources market will allow Kyrgyz enterprises to purchase oil, petroleum products, and electricity directly from producers, bypassing intermediaries. He also pointed out the need to develop transport corridors, which will provide local businesses with freer access to international markets, including the use of Iran's port infrastructure. In addition, the expert emphasized the importance of financial integration — this does not mean introducing a single currency, but it is necessary to ensure entrepreneurs have free access to banking services and loans in the countries of the "five".
The development of a common market for services and labor resources is also an important aspect of the union. Danil Ibraev noted that specialists should have the opportunity to work without restrictions in the territories of partner countries. He also pointed to a new trend in Kyrgyzstan's economy: in recent years, the republic has been facing a labor shortage, leading to an increase in the number of labor migrants from Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. According to Ibraev, only the full realization of all freedoms of the EAEU will help states adapt more quickly to changing global conditions and increase production efficiency.
