On the air of "Birinchi Radio," the Minister of Economy and Trade, Bakyt Sydykov, spoke about how the government supports workers in the textile industry.

According to him, preferential loans are being allocated to assist entrepreneurs, provided by two state banks. Currently, the total volume of support amounts to approximately 1 billion soms.

The head of the ministry noted that only officially operating companies have access to these loans. Representatives of the "gray" business, who do not possess a complete set of documents, cannot expect financial assistance from the government.

"The gray business includes those entrepreneurs who operate without the necessary documents. At the same time, those in the 'white list' are those who are officially registered, pay taxes, and comply with legal requirements. It is precisely such companies that are currently receiving loans," he explained.

Sydykov also added that entrepreneurs with zero reporting face difficulties in obtaining financing due to the lack of necessary declarations and supporting documents.

The Ministry of Economy clarified that partner banks use citizens' deposits for financing, so the transparency of borrowers plays a key role. Although collateral requirements remain, possibilities for simplifying lending conditions are being considered.

To receive government support, a business must be officially registered, have all the necessary permits, and conduct its activities in accordance with the law, the official emphasized.

In the fall of 2025, it was reported that changes in requirements in Russia led to a number of problems for representatives of the textile industry in Kyrgyzstan.
