Attention was focused on issues of trade and economic cooperation, as well as topics related to agriculture, energy, processing, and transport projects. The optimization of the operation of border checkpoints was also discussed, along with the promotion of the construction of a railway connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
Ministers also discussed cooperation within the framework of the UN, the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, and the "Central Asia – China" format. Both sides expressed their readiness for active interaction during Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2025-2026.
As a result of the meeting, a joint statement on the outcomes of the first meeting of the strategic dialogue and a cooperation program between the foreign ministries of Kyrgyzstan and China for 2026-2027 were signed.
