She was born and raised in this village, where she also got married. With a degree in mathematics and computer science, Madina does not work in her field due to family circumstances and, together with her husband, is raising three sons and a daughter.
“Instead of receiving benefits, we participated in the 'Social Contract' program in 2022 and received 100,000 soms.
I have long been interested in making sweets, and previously I only made them for the children. With support, I decided to help my husband improve our family's financial situation by doing what I love. I acquired my culinary skills from my mother and through workshops.
I chose four simple and popular types of sweets. Gradually, I began to offer my products, gaining customers, and now I collaborate with 20 stores,” Madina said.
She noted that she works 12 hours a day, but since the work is done at home, her children are always under her supervision. Her net income can reach 40,000 soms a month.
“If you start a business, you need to see it through to the end, look for positive moments, and develop. I believe it is wrong to jump from one thing to another without properly starting. Improving what already exists is the most reliable path,” she believes.
The 'Social Contract' program is aimed at supporting families receiving benefits in their efforts to start their own businesses and improve their living conditions. In 2023, the amount of support increased to 150,000 soms, while previously it was 100,000 soms. Many families that have taken advantage of this program have been able to significantly increase their annual income to one million soms and create new jobs.
