In an interview with Turmush reporters, she shared that she was born on August 24, 2000, in Bishkek, but considers the village of Esherovo to be her hometown, as her father is from there.
Jamila graduated from the Kyrgyz State Law Academy in 2022, earning a degree in law. Currently, she does not have a permanent job, as she got married and became a mother after her studies.
“Since childhood, I have been passionate about drawing. My parents always supported me in school by buying the necessary materials and praising my good works. To develop my skills, I studied books and searched for information on the internet, practicing a lot. I started with a simple pencil, then tried watercolor, and in the 7th-8th grades, I mastered oil paints and pastels. I also experimented with acrylics, painting on clothes and dishes,” Jamila recounts.
According to her, from the very beginning, she was fascinated by animal art and even took orders for her works. “People often wonder why I chose law instead of art,” she added.
The price of her paintings varies depending on size and complexity and is discussed individually with each client.
“At the moment, I am on maternity leave and taking care of household chores. I recently created a social media page where I share my drawings. When the children grow up, I plan to return to legal work. But if my page becomes popular and orders come in, I will be very happy, as my soul yearns for creativity,” the artist noted.
Jamila has a three-year-old daughter and is expecting the birth of her second daughter at the end of this month.
