In the Issyk-Ata district, a monitoring program dedicated to families receiving financial assistance through the social contract program has been completed. Specialists analyzed their current entrepreneurial activity, as reported by Turmush correspondents from the district department of labor, social welfare, and migration.
According to the collected data, the monitoring allows for tracking how targeted funds are spent, as well as taking measures to prevent violations and enhance the effectiveness of the program's implementation. The goal of this project is to encourage families to take active steps to overcome difficult life circumstances, increase their social responsibility, develop small businesses, and create new jobs.
This year, the Ministry of Labor, Social Welfare, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic allocated a quota to assist 140 low-income and needy families in Issyk-Ata. Within the framework of the social contract, funds have been distributed across various sectors: 83 families are engaged in the breeding of small livestock, 44 in sewing production, 2 in confectionery, 2 in poultry farming, 5 in the production of building materials, 1 in greenhouse operations, 1 in car washing, and 2 in providing transportation services.
The "Social Contract" initiative aims to assist families receiving benefits in starting their own businesses and improving their quality of life. In 2023, the amount of support was 100,000 soms, and starting from this year, it has been increased to 150,000 soms. Among the program participants, there are families that have managed to increase their annual income to one million soms and create new jobs.
