The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region reports the detention of a foreigner suspected of thefts.
A woman named D.G., born in 1980, approached the local police department in the Alamudun district. She reported that on November 27, 2025, an unknown criminal broke the window of her private store "D," located in the village of Tash-Dobo, and stole 25,000 soms from the cash register, as well as tobacco products worth over 200,000 soms, after which he fled the scene.
The incident was recorded, and a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities aimed at solving the crime, a citizen of a foreign state named E.S., born in 1966, was identified and detained, who had previously had legal issues for similar offenses. In accordance with the procedural legislation of Kyrgyzstan, he was placed in a temporary detention facility.
A court ruling determined a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of two months for the detainee. Currently, an investigation is underway to check his possible involvement in other crimes committed in the district and region.
