By the president's directive, this decision has been made
In the city of Osh, the process of demolishing residential houses located near the 'Teshik-Tash' market has been suspended. This was reported by the local mayor's office.
It has been revealed that this step was taken at the instruction of the president. The first deputy mayor, Adilet Sharshenaly, visited the site, met with residents, and held an explanatory discussion. The mayor's office noted that the restoration of the roof of one of the already damaged buildings will be financed from the city budget.
It should be clarified that earlier the mayor's office, in conjunction with the police, began demolishing houses, ignoring the emotional appeals of local residents for whom these homes are their only place of residence. Videos capturing citizens' reactions were circulated on social media.
