Residents of border villages in Leylek have started moving to new homes
In the Batken region, in the border villages of the Leylek district, local residents have begun relocating to new settlements built at the initiative of the government. This was reported by the press service of the president's representative in the region.

In particular, residents of the village of Maksat, located in the Kulundin rural district, are moving into 16 new houses that have been constructed in their own village. Meanwhile, residents of the village of Saada are relocating to 60 new houses built in the village of Razzakov.

The relocation process is being carried out with the support of staff and equipment from the territorial management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Residents of Nurmatov and Zhanibaev streets, as well as the villages of Maksat and Saada, are moving to new neighborhoods.

The president's representative noted that this relocation is a consequence of the demarcation of the state border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. As part of the agreements reached, an exchange of certain settlements is provided.
