A tuberculosis case was detected during a regular medical examination of a teacher at school No. 37 in Bishkek.
According to information from the city administration, in such cases, following the directives of the Central State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, a series of actions are taken: temporary suspension of the teacher from work; Diaskintest and chest X-rays for individuals he has come into contact with; organization of regular screenings among contact persons; as well as daily sanitary and preventive measures in school premises in collaboration with the medical service.
Currently, all teachers in schools in Bishkek are undergoing medical examinations according to an established schedule.
