According to local authorities, the incident occurred on December 27 at around 03:30 on the 125th kilometer of the Osh—Batken—Razakov highway, on A. Orozbekov Street in Kadamjay, where a DAF truck transporting oil was involved in an accident.
As a result of the accident, oil was spilled, which ended up on the shoulder of Orozbekov Street and also flowed onto Ankur-Sai Street and into the territory of the taxi park servicing routes to the villages of Orozbekov, Kyzyl-Bulak, and Jiydelik.
Fortunately, the oil leak into nearby water bodies and rivers was prevented, and the situation was brought fully under control. On the same day, cleanup operations were carried out with the participation of a road organization and employees of the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" to eliminate the consequences of the accident. Residents did not face any disruptions in their daily lives, and the taxi park's operations also remained unchanged. Currently, the road surface has been completely cleared, and vehicle traffic is proceeding without delays.
