According to the municipal enterprise "Bishkek City Transport," the incident happened on December 7 around noon.
Preliminary information indicates that the bus driver, H. Turdiev, was driving north on Baytik Baatyr Street. At the intersection with Moscow Street, a woman, approximately 40-45 years old, stepped onto the road against a red traffic light, which led to the bus hitting the pedestrian.
“An ambulance crew was called to the scene, which took the injured woman in serious condition to the city hospital. The passengers of the bus were not injured,” the city hall reported.
