Since 2014, the Rosselkhoznadzor has been actively implementing electronic veterinary systems, which has enabled cooperation with more than 50 countries and the receipt of veterinary certificates from abroad in digital format. This is reported in the press release from the Rosselkhoznadzor.
During this period, the agency received over 403,000 electronic certificates for imported products from international partners. In turn, 340,000 certificates were issued for exports in electronic form.
Since June 2025, the Rosselkhoznadzor has begun transmitting electronic certificates for poultry, pork, and beef to Hong Kong, and to date, 323 certificates have been transmitted.
In 2026, the agency plans to expand digital integration with several key partner countries, including Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, Morocco, and the UAE. This innovation is expected to facilitate the export of Russian livestock products, including meat, offal, and eggs, as well as speed up the customs clearance process and increase the transparency of supplies within the EAEU.
