The summary of the results for the year 2025 in the rural district of Karkyra, Tyup region has been completed.

The Karkyra district comprises 11 villages with a population of 20,692 people. Throughout 2025, various planned activities were implemented, funded not only by the local budget but also by internal investments, grants, as well as republican, district, and regional funds.

Construction of Social Facilities

In 2025, many significant works were carried out in Karkyra. In honor of the 34th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence, a new modern school No. 28 named after J. Asylbaev was opened in the village, designed for 100 students.

To ensure the safety and health of the population, a medical and obstetric point was built in Korumdu, and a new police station was opened in the Karkyra district.

Additionally, work began on the construction of new schools for 275 students in the villages of Kөchү and Chon-Tash, as well as a school for 100 students in San-Tash (3rd farm) and a kindergarten for 100 children in Sary-Tologoy.

Development of the Production Sector

A concrete production plant "Global Beton" was launched in the village of Keng-Suu, capable of producing 60 cubic meters of concrete per hour and crushing 110-130 tons.

Also, a municipal small enterprise was opened in the village of Taldy-Suu, funded by the Tyup district development fund in the amount of 2 million 300 thousand soms, which contributed to the creation of about 10 jobs and the start of production of polystyrene and sand blocks.

Development of Internal Infrastructure

A stele depicting Bugу-ene, with columns symbolizing the 11 villages and the symbol of Karkyra, was installed at the entrance to the Karkyra rural district. The project cost 2 million 851 thousand soms.

A recreation park was opened in the center of the village of Taldy-Suu, where paving was laid over an area of 1.5 hectares, and two-sided fences were installed, funded by the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. Lighting and video surveillance were also installed. The park was landscaped and decorated with flowers.

Three modern public transport stops appeared on the main street, and to enhance road safety, traffic lights were installed at two locations using funds from the district fund.

As part of the incentive grant program, road asphalt was laid for 1.5 km in Sary-Tologoy, 2 km in the Karkyra district, and 1 km in Taldy-Suu. In each village, work was carried out to fill and repair about 60 km of internal roads with gravel.

Employees of the village administration, cultural representatives, and local leaders work in the rural district. As noted by the head of the village administration, in 2025, local residents actively contributed to environmental protection, tourism development, and the organization of international cultural events.

“The construction of the international highway Tyup-Kegen has been completed, and the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border now operates around the clock. In the summer, many tourists visited the Karkyra pasture. To ensure a successful tourist season in 2025, the 'Taza Karkyra' campaign was organized to create comfortable conditions for guests and maintain cleanliness,” he added.

Among the cultural events, special attention was drawn to the harvest festival "Altyn Kүz," which invited guests from neighboring countries. They witnessed theatrical performances and a concert program. As a result of these events, the Tyup and Kegen districts signed a memorandum of cooperation in the fields of culture, humanitarian ties, agriculture, and the economy.

In the near future, the Karkyra rural district will sign a memorandum "On Friendship and Cooperation" with the Shumkar-Uya village administration of the Talas region for the exchange of experience, as reported by the head of the Karkyra village administration, Rustam Cherikbaev.

He also added that in 2026, it is planned to address issues related to internal infrastructure, irrigation, and providing the population with drinking water.

“In Ichke-Suu and Korumdu, there has long been a problem with access to clean water. This year, clean water was supplied to Ichke-Suu, and the construction in Korumdu is about 90% complete. Next year, all residents will be provided with drinking water. All work is under the control of the relevant leaders,” he noted.

Additionally, plans include asphalting internal roads, intensifying irrigation work, and restoring irrigation canals. A project is being developed in collaboration with the district water management department to lay 6 km of new ditches and build a water retention basin.

Monitoring the cleanliness of the Karkyra pasture will be carried out during the tourist season.
