8 residents of the Moscow region fined for illegal fuel sales

On January 12, in the Chui region, in the Moscow district, eight local residents were fined for the illegal sale of fuel and lubricants. The total amount of fines was 24,000 soms.

According to information provided by the district road safety department, there are five rural districts located within the area.
According to representatives of the road service, despite regular informational activities for local residents, instances of illegal fuel trading are still being detected both along the Bishkek – Kara-Balta highway and on internal streets. As a result of a raid conducted on January 12, protocols were drawn up for all eight violators, each of whom was fined 3,000 soms.

Furthermore, the road safety department emphasizes that checks for illegal fuel sales will continue. In the event of repeated violations, measures will be taken in accordance with Article 179, Part 1 of the KR Code, concerning the use of roadside areas without coordination with the authorized bodies, which may lead to the imposition of fines.

The official statement notes that "selling fuel in unauthorized locations is illegal."
