According to ecologists, on January 2, during a raid, it was discovered that one of the local residents was illegally hunting and had killed 9 partridges. The birds, as well as the pneumatic weapon used for hunting, were handed over to the Aitmatov district police department.
In addition, on January 4, as a result of another raid, two more residents of the Aitmatov district were detained for also illegally shooting 18 chukars (stone partridges). The captured birds and firearms were sent to the investigative authorities for further investigation.
Inspections to identify and prevent illegal hunting will continue.
