According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, illegal shooting of two mountain goats occurred in the At-Bashinsky district. This incident was recorded during a raid conducted by inspectors from the Naryn Regional Department of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service.
The raid was organized based on operational data and took place in the Bosogo pasture in the At-Bashinsky district. During the inspection, inspectors discovered evidence of illegal hunting related to the actions of a local resident, citizen B.Sh., who was detained at the scene.
The collected materials on the case have been transferred to the investigative department of the At-Bashinsky District Department of Internal Affairs, where a criminal case has been initiated. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the incident and to legally assess the actions of the detainee.
The Ministry emphasizes that raids in high-altitude areas will continue to prevent poaching, protect rare species of animals, and enhance control in pastures during periods when the risk of poaching increases.
