The data was announced at an operational meeting dedicated to the results of the work for 2025, held by representatives of the Traffic Safety Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Naryn region.
The meeting was attended by Police Lieutenant Colonel Emil Zhakyppov, who holds the position of Deputy Head of the Main Department for Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Police Colonel Rakhmat Murzakmatov — Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Naryn region, as well as Police Lieutenant Colonels Nurbek Salymbaev and Bakyt Urmambetov, who lead the Traffic Safety Department and its deputy respectively, along with other staff responsible for law enforcement.
From the report, it became known that throughout the year, inspectors in the region identified 28,333 traffic violations, which resulted in fines amounting to 29 million 833 thousand 641 soms being collected into the state budget.
Main types of violations:
- driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol — 801 cases;
- exceeding the established speed limit — 6,940 cases;
- illegal window tinting — 106 cases;
- driving without necessary documents — 1,820 cases;
- auto hooliganism — 51 cases;
- ignoring traffic signs — 8,172 cases;
- violating overtaking rules — 689 cases;
- as a result of various violations, 4,214 vehicles were temporarily placed in impound lots.
At the meeting, E. Zhakyppov set tasks for the Traffic Safety Department staff to organize coordination meetings with local authorities to prevent road traffic accidents and to improve road safety efforts.
The importance of strict adherence to legality and polite communication with drivers on duty was also emphasized, especially regarding those who grossly violate the rules and create risks for accidents. This is necessary to enhance the effectiveness of preventive work aimed at accident prevention.
