Askhat Alagozov, the press secretary of the President of Kyrgyzstan, commented on the possible reaction of the authorities to the recent sharp statements made by Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov, which have caused significant public resonance.

According to Alagozov, representatives of various media outlets have approached him with questions about whether there will be an official statement from the Kyrgyz authorities in response to Solovyov's words. He noted that his comment should be provided in a general format.

Alagozov emphasized that such statements should be considered insignificant and unserious, as they stem from Solovyov's lengthy broadcasts covering a variety of topics.

Speaking about a possible reaction, the press secretary added that Solovyov, as a journalist and TV host, primarily seeks a response from the journalistic community or other individuals, rather than from official authorities. If such words had come from a deputy or a minister, the response would have come from representatives of the government or parliament.

Alagozov also mentioned a proposal from one of the deputies to declare Solovyov a persona non grata, noting that there is an established procedure for this, and it will be seen how this issue will be resolved.

He noted that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as with other Central Asian countries, are at a high level, which is confirmed by frequent mutual visits and cooperation within organizations such as the CIS, EAEU, and SCO.

In this regard, the press secretary expressed the opinion that such assumptions are unfounded.

Nevertheless, considering that Solovyov represents state television and his provocative statements can create tension between nations, this causes bewilderment among citizens of friendly countries and may require strict measures to be taken. Alagozov expressed hope that Solovyov's leadership will take appropriate actions," concluded the press secretary.
