
On January 13, 2026, a meeting took place in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, attended by the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kylchbek Sultan, and the Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Hichi. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
During the discussion, both the current state and future prospects of cultural cooperation between the two countries were addressed, with an emphasis on the practical aspects of organizing the Cultural Days of Kyrgyzstan in Pakistan.
As a result of the negotiations, it was decided to create a joint working group that will coordinate the preparation and implementation of this cultural event. The parties also expressed a desire to develop a program of joint cultural initiatives, including events dedicated to the celebration of Nowruz.
The participants of the meeting noted that holding the Cultural Days would serve as a significant step towards strengthening friendship between the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, as well as contribute to the development of cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
