During the tests, the drone was able to detect a fishing net approximately 100 meters long on the bottom of the lake, which had been there for many years, and lift it from a depth of 50 meters. This demonstrated the high efficiency of the new technology.
In the future, this drone will be used to ensure safety on the water, conduct search operations, and protect the ecology of Lake Issyk-Kul, according to the report.
It is also reported that 110,000 meters of synthetic nets were confiscated in the Issyk-Kul District, and legal cases have already been initiated regarding 11 criminal cases related to these violations.
