The Central Election Commission continues to accept applications from candidates wishing to participate in the repeat elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, which will take place in the multi-mandate electoral district No. 13.
The voting date is set for March 1, 2026.
CEC representatives reminded that the deadline for submitting applications to participate in the elections will end 30 calendar days before the voting, that is, on January 29, 2026, at 18:00.
Currently, the commission has received 25 applications from candidates, all of whom have been nominated independently. Among the candidates, there are representatives from various fields, including business, law, education, energy, public service, and non-working citizens.
Among them:
- directors and heads of commercial structures;
- lawyers and attorneys;
- entrepreneurs;
- representatives of the education and cultural sectors;
- public activists and employees of state institutions.
