A working group, which included Bishkek Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva, conducted an on-site inspection of the private school "Creative Taalim" following complaints from city residents.
During the inspection, it was found that there are serious violations of safety standards on the school premises. In particular, there is free access to the boiler room, which is a high-risk facility, and an open excavation was discovered. Additionally, cases of unsanitary conditions were recorded in the surrounding area, and there are no fences or other safety measures, which poses a threat to the life and health of students, as reported by the city hall.
It was also revealed that the educational institution is using equipment that is not equipped with exhaust gas purification systems for the combustion of solid fuels, which negatively impacts the environment. The school administration was recommended to explore the possibility of installing modern emission purification equipment.
The inspection also found that the classrooms on the third floor do not meet fire and sanitary safety requirements. The school did not provide the previously issued order, and therefore it is planned to appeal to the relevant state authorities, as well as to the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, to address the licensing issue of the educational institution.
As a result of the inspection, the administration of "Creative Taalim" was instructed to promptly bring both the territory and the premises of the school into order. In the coming days, measures must be organized to ensure the complete safety of children, including fencing off high-risk areas. If these requirements are not met, measures will be taken in accordance with the law.
