Social networks may face attacks from advanced AI-controlled bots

In the near future, social media may be threatened by attacks from high-tech bots that will act like regular users. This situation creates a risk of spreading false information, which can have serious consequences.

Research shows that artificial intelligence agents can interfere in political processes and influence public opinion. It is predicted that in the coming years, armies of neural network-controlled bots may become a tool in information conflicts.

To combat such attacks, it is proposed to use systems capable of analyzing internet traffic in real-time, which will help identify statistical anomalies. Additional research on bot behavior will help reduce risks threatening both internet services and users.

Experts note that a new era is on the horizon, characterized by collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence (AI). Interaction occurs through text or voice commands. Notably, changes are happening in two key areas: both in software developed in China and in hardware solutions created in Silicon Valley.

Approaches to technology distribution are also changing. Now, app stores function as agencies where users do not just download programs but "hire" skills, delegating tasks to agents. For example, a user can instruct an Expedia agent to book travel.

Major Chinese tech companies like Alibaba, Tencent, and ByteDance are actively implementing the concept of "agent commerce." In the U.S., companies like Apple and OpenAI are developing devices focused on voice commands. Journalists claim that such technologies may become similar to pets, obeying the commands of their owners.
