At the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on industrial policy, transport, fuel and energy complex, architecture, and construction, information was presented on the condition of the roads and internal roads of Kyrgyzstan, managed by the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Issues regarding the implementation of ratified laws concerning the reconstruction and construction of roads were also discussed.
The First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Beknazar Bazaraliev, presented the information. During the discussion, Deputy Baktyyar Kalpaev expressed the need to complete repair and construction work on the roads in the Kadamjai district of the Batken region, emphasizing the settlements of Shybran, Soviet, and Ak-Turpak. Deputy Temirlan Aitiev inquired about the progress of the construction of the Northern Bypass Road of Bishkek and suggested accelerating the asphalting of roads in the villages of Dostuk, Sydykov, and Chokmorov in the Chui region.
Deputy Erkinbek Isenaliev also asked about the ministry's plans for the construction of a bypass road in the city of Kemin, noting the problem of frequent traffic accidents due to high traffic flow. Deputy Bakhridin Shabazov emphasized the need for the construction of a bridge in the village of Sary-Jon on the Bishkek-Isyk-Ata highway. Bakyt Chomoev highlighted the importance of building an underground pedestrian crossing on the Bishkek-Kara-Balta road, considering the proximity of a school and frequent incidents involving students. The speaker reported that the construction of an underground crossing at the 28th kilometer of the specified road has been included in the title list for the current year, with allocated funding of 10 million soms. Deputy Rakhmat Junushbaeva requested information on the progress of the reconstruction of the Jetiy-Oguz-Koysary road.
As a result of the discussion, the committee issued a number of instructions to the relevant ministry.
