
In Bishkek, at the Memorial House-Museum of M.V. Frunze, an exhibition titled "Urkuya Salieva - a symbol of courage and freedom" will open on March 6. This exhibition is dedicated to the life of Urkuya Salieva, who is one of the most prominent figures of the time of social change in Kyrgyzstan.
The exhibition will provide visitors with a deeper understanding of Urkuya's biography, her active public activities, as well as the historical events of the 1920s and 1930s. As part of the exhibition, archival photographs and documents will be displayed, along with the feature film "Bow to the Fire," which helps to create the image of a woman who became a symbol of the struggle for equality and societal progress.
The organizers emphasize that the goal of the exhibition is to preserve historical memory and highlight the contribution of women to the development of Kyrgyz society.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 11:00 on March 6 at the Memorial House-Museum of M.V. Frunze. Admission will be free for all interested.
