The Audit Chamber of Kyrgyzstan Reveals Financial Violations in the Ministry of Labor: Audit Results for 2024

The Accounts Chamber of Kyrgyzstan has completed an audit of the budget execution of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2024, covering the period from January 1 to December 31. The main goal of the audit was to assess compliance with legislation in the use of budget funds, as well as to check financial discipline and the accuracy of accounting.

According to the audit results, numerous financial violations and deficiencies were identified, indicating non-compliance with current regulations. The total amount of violations amounted to 36 million 560.3 thousand soms, of which 11 million 225.4 thousand soms pertained to accounting violations. As a result of measures taken to address the identified deficiencies, it was possible to recover 2 million 12.4 thousand soms.

During the audit, instances of non-compliance with accounting rules, violations in the process of accounting for fixed assets, and the absence of certain material values in the accounting balance were noted. Additionally, facts of unlawful assignment and payment of state benefits and ineffective use of budget funds were established. Necessary adjustments were made to the accounting records to correct the identified deficiencies.

Based on the conducted audit, recommendations were sent to the relevant entity to eliminate the identified violations and improve financial discipline, as well as to enhance the efficiency of budget fund usage.
