According to the Eurasian Integration Institute, 86.7% of voters supported changes to the Constitution. An exit poll by "Sociс-A" showed 87.4% in favor of the new edition.
According to the AMANAT party's Institute of Public Policy, 88.6% of respondents voted for the new Constitution. Voter turnout in the referendum, according to this survey, was 72.1%.
The Central Referendum Commission reports that voter turnout in the referendum was 73.24%. A total of 9,126,850 citizens participated in the voting.
The General Prosecutor's Office reported some violations that were identified on the day of voting on the constitutional reform in Kazakhstan, as reported by Tengrinews.kz correspondent.
According to the supervisory authority, the referendum process, in general, proceeded without serious incidents.
He noted that the prosecutor's office is recording similar cases, including the publication of photographs of ballots on social media.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the situation in the country remains stable on the day of the referendum. Continuous monitoring of the situation is being conducted, including the use of CCTV cameras by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Currently, no serious violations of public order have been recorded. The police continue to operate until the voting is completed.
