In 1-2 months, the country hosting the VII World Nomad Games will be announced. This was reported by Nursultan Adenov, head of the secretariat of the World Nomad Games, on the air of Birinchi Radio.
He noted that the VII Nomad Games will take place in a new country, and at the moment, applications have already been received from 3-4 states wishing to host this event.
“There are only five months left until the VI World Nomad Games. In 2025, we sent invitations to 100 countries, and to date, we have received confirmation of participation from about 50 states. In total, we expect delegations from more than 90 countries. The organizing committee is completing the final stage of preparation. With the onset of warm weather, we will begin repair work and modernization of the infrastructure. An ethnofestival will be held in the Kyrchyn Gorge, traditionally considered the ‘heart’ of the Games. The concept of the ethnocultural village has been completely updated and approved by the organizing committee. Currently, the directing team, architects, and builders are preparing for installation as soon as the weather permits. The official opening of the ethnovillage is scheduled for September 2,” Adenov noted.Additionally, he added that new locations will not be used for the VI World Nomad Games, as all necessary infrastructure is already fully prepared.
“We decided not to involve new venues for the VI World Nomad Games. The infrastructure available in the Issyk-Kul region is fully ready, so we will use already tested places, such as the racetrack in Cholpon-Ata, the Gazprom Sports and Health Complex, the Rukh Ordo Cultural Center, and the Nomad Amphitheater in the village of Bosteri,” he explained.Adenov also reported that only cosmetic repairs are planned for the racetrack in Cholpon-Ata.
