A citizen named K.E. filed a report with the Issyk-Ata District Department of Internal Affairs. He stated that on February 18, 2026, around 11:00 PM, on the bypass road in the Kemin district of the Chui region, his acquaintance, identified as A., along with two unknown individuals, invited him to a meeting under the pretext of selling gold jewelry. They threatened him with an object resembling a black pistol of an unspecified make and attempted to seize his money.
According to the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region, this incident was recorded, and a preliminary investigation has begun. During the investigation, it was revealed that on the same day, February 18, 2026, around 11:00 PM, three individuals — D.A. (born in 2001), Zh.A. (born in 1998), and D.K. (born in 1997), who had premeditated the robbery, drove onto the bypass road in a "Lexus" vehicle, armed with a Makarov pistol.
However, they were unable to carry out their plan as they were detained by police officers before they could realize their intentions.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Issyk-Ata District Internal Affairs Office based on the signs of a crime provided for in Articles 36 and 207 (Preparation for Robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspects were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility, and the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months.
