In the Kemin district, three men suspected of preparing for a robbery using a pistol have been detained.
According to information provided by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region, a citizen identified as K.E. approached the police station of the Issyk-Ata district. He reported that on February 18, 2026, around 11:00 PM, on the bypass road of the Kemin district, his acquaintance named A. called him to meet under the pretext of selling gold jewelry, along with two unknown individuals. Threatening him with an object resembling a black pistol, they attempted to seize his money.
An investigation was initiated regarding this incident, during which it was established that on February 18, 2026, around 11:00 PM, three individuals: D.A. (born in 2001), Z.A. (born in 1998), and D.K. (born in 1997) had premeditated the robbery. They drove to the bypass road of the Kemin district in a "Lexus" vehicle, armed with a Makarov pistol.
However, they were unable to carry out their planned crime as they were detained by police officers before they could complete it.
A criminal case has been initiated in the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata district under Articles 36 and 207 (Preparation for Robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the suspects were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest for two months for each of them.
Necessary examinations have been appointed within the framework of the criminal case, and the investigation is ongoing. As a result of the investigative actions, the actions of the accused will receive a legal assessment, and a decision will be made in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
