According to the police, a citizen identified as K.E. approached the internal affairs department of the Issyk-Ata district. He reported that on February 18, around 11:00 PM, his acquaintance invited him to meet on the bypass road in the Kemin district under the pretext of selling gold jewelry. During the meeting, this acquaintance and two of his accomplices, threatening him with an object resembling a pistol, attempted to seize the victim's money.
The police found out that the detainees are D.A. (born in 2001), Z.A. (born in 1998), and D.K. (born in 1997), who had planned this crime in advance. Armed with a Makarov pistol, they arrived at the crime scene in a Lexus vehicle.
However, they were unable to carry out their plan — police officers detained them before the attack was completed.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the detainees under Articles 36 and 207 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Preparation for Robbery").
Currently, the suspects are in a temporary detention facility. The court has issued a decision on a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of two months. Expert examinations have already been appointed, and the investigation is ongoing.
