According to the police, the incident occurred on the night of January 25, when unknown assailants broke into the pensioner's house. They beat him, tied his hands and feet, and then openly stole 165,000 soms from the safe and a Samsung mobile phone. The attackers soon fled the scene.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning robbery.
During the investigation, three individuals were detained: B.M. and Z.A., both born in 1995, as well as R.M., born in 1978. All of them were placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that the attack was organized by a relative of the victim, who is the ex-wife of his biological brother. According to the police, the suspects expected to find a large sum of money in the safe, allegedly obtained from the sale of a land plot; however, most of the money was in a deposit account.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are conducting the necessary investigative actions.
