As noted in Pantone's press release, "Cloud Dancer" symbolizes a calming influence in our troubled society and emphasizes the importance of a tranquil approach and deep reflection. This shade, like a blank canvas, embodies the desire for a new beginning. By removing outdated thoughts, we pave the way for new ideas and solutions.
The official color code for "Cloud Dancer" is PANTONE 11-4201. Laurie Pressman, Vice President of Pantone, emphasized that this shade "promises clarity" in challenging times and is a symbol of conscious simplification, allowing for focus and the elimination of distractions.
Pantone has been defining the Color of the Year for 26 years. In 2025, the color was the brown shade "Mocha Mousse," and in 2024, it was "Peach Fuzz."
