The main goal of the new legislation is to improve the judicial system and facilitate citizens' access to justice through the implementation of modern digital technologies.
One of the objectives of the law is:
- to establish a legal framework for the introduction of digital court proceedings, which will allow for faster case consideration and decision-making, as well as reduce dependence on the traditional use of paper documents at all stages of the judicial process.
It is also planned to reduce, and in the future completely eliminate, the need for citizens involved in legal proceedings as plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses, experts, etc., to personally visit the courts due to life circumstances.
- to reduce excessive regulation of procedural norms related to the use of digital technologies, which will allow for the rapid adaptation of new digital services into judicial practice as they develop and are implemented in the judicial system.
