According to the new law, individuals who attempt to transfer or actually transfer mobile or other means of communication to detainees in institutions of the penal system shall be subject to punishment. If this offense is committed by a person who already has experience with similar actions, fines ranging from 500 to 1,000 calculated indicators (which corresponds to an amount from 50,000 to 100,000 soms), mandatory work for a period of 50 to 200 hours, or imprisonment for a term of two to five years are provided.
