
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, has signed a new Constitutional law regarding changes in the legislation concerning the National Bank. This was reported by the publication "Erkin-Too".
This law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on September 24, 2025, and officially published on October 31. The document clarifies certain aspects related to the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Key points of the law:
A provision has been added to Article 9 stating that laws on banking activities do not apply to the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Additionally, an amendment has been made to Article 40, according to which the National Bank will not engage in licensing, regulation, and oversight of the activities of the State Development Bank.
The law comes into effect ten days after its official publication.
