In two regions of Kazakhstan, restrictions on road traffic have been introduced due to adverse weather conditions, according to information from KazAvtoZhol.
Since December 7 at 11:30, traffic has been restricted for public and freight transport on the following sections:
Aktobe Region:
- on the road "Russia border – Martuk – Aktobe – Karabutak – Kyzylorda – Shymkent – Taraz – Kordai – Almaty – Khorgos – China border", km 965-1240, section from Karabutak to the border with Kyzylorda Region;
- from 12:30 – on the road "Kostanay – Rudny – Denisovka – Komsomolskoye – Karabutak", km 0-234, section from Karabutak to the border with Kostanay Region.
Kyzylorda Region:
- on the road "Russia border – Martuk – Aktobe – Karabutak – Kyzylorda – Shymkent – Taraz – Kordai – Almaty – Khorgos – China border", km 1240-1362, section from the border with Aktobe Region to Aral.
Kostanay Region:
- from 12:30 – on the road "Kostanay – Rudny – Denisovka – Komsomolskoye – Karabutak", km 234-310, section from the border with Aktobe Region to the village of Adaevka.
It is expected that traffic will be restored on December 7 by 18:00.
