The parties also noted the active implementation of joint projects worth tens of billions of dollars in key areas such as civil aviation, automotive industry, mining, agriculture, infrastructure, energy, chemical industry, and information and communication technologies.
As part of the support for current and new projects, an American-Uzbek Business and Investment Council was established, and work began on a joint investment fund. In addition, a new mechanism for interregional cooperation was launched: delegations from three regions of Uzbekistan have already visited the USA to establish partnerships with American states.
Discussing the international and regional agenda, the presidents paid special attention to multilateral cooperation within the "C5+1" format.
