According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, the teenager fired several shots with plastic bullets at a teacher and three of his classmates, and also detonated a firecracker. He is currently detained, and investigative authorities are working to clarify all the circumstances of the incident. The Investigative Committee has already initiated criminal cases, including one for negligence (Article 293 of the Criminal Code).
The head of the Ufa administration, Ratmir Mavliev, noted that the boy had become a victim of bullying by his peers. "He was bullied by other ninth graders, which possibly led to his actions. He entered with an air gun and opened fire," he added. One of the sources of information was the Ufa1 portal, which reported that during the shooting, the student hit a history teacher, who sustained a minor facial injury. Some classmates and neighbors of the attacker claim that he had a hostile relationship with the teacher, which he also mentioned in his Telegram channel. Interestingly, the teenager's parents hold managerial positions in the republican tax service, as reported by Baza. The boy's father stated that his son complained about conflicts at school and claimed that he was being laughed at.
According to REN TV, the student recorded conversations with his classmates and teachers using a voice recorder and shared the recordings on social media. In one of his posts, he reflected on thoughts about how he "deals with everyone."
There are two security guards at the gymnasium — an elderly woman and a man. However, the latter regularly received complaints from parents of students: according to them, he often fell asleep at his post.
