According to the new decree, education department heads are required to ensure that the vaccination rate among children does not fall below 90%. They must also organize a "morning filter" to identify signs of illness in children and educators, preventing them from entering educational institutions, and inform parents about the importance of immunization.
Furthermore, educational institutions are instructed to temporarily suspend unvaccinated children if cases of measles are recorded in their vicinity.
Earlier, representatives of the sanitary-epidemiological control committee noted that mass refusals of vaccination have negatively impacted collective immunity in the country. According to the agency's data, 59% of children who contracted measles were not vaccinated due to refusals from their parents.
