The last day of classes before the break is scheduled for March 18, and after the break, on March 30, students will return to their desks to begin the fourth quarter. Such a long break will help students regain their strength before the final stage of the academic year.

The Ministry of Education announced that as of January 1, 2026, the updated Labor Code came into effect, which introduced two extended non-working holidays — in January (from January 1 to January 6) and in May (from May 1 to May 8). Additionally, January 7, May 5, and May 9 have been officially declared public holidays. If January 10–11 or May 10–11 coincide with the weekend, then the winter break and May holidays can last up to 12 calendar days.
