Ali Khamenei passed away as a result of the initial missile strikes by the U.S. and Israel on Iran on February 28. During these military actions, not only he but also his wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and daughter-in-law were killed. Ali Khamenei's residence was completely destroyed. According to Fars news agency, the ayatollah's funeral will take place in his hometown of Mashhad.
