As a result of the discussions, a decision was made to increase the production of so-called "exclusive" weapons fourfold, which is expected to facilitate a quicker achievement of the planned production capacities.
The president noted that efforts to expand production began three months ago. New factories are currently under construction, and the production of several types of weapons has already been launched. Various states are actively competing for the placement of new defense enterprises.
Additionally, Trump emphasized that the U.S. has "virtually unlimited stocks" of medium and high-class ammunition, which have been used, in particular, in Iran and recently in Venezuela. Despite this, Washington has decided to increase orders for these munitions.
Following the meeting, Trump announced that another meeting with defense industry participants is planned in two months.
Earlier that same day, the U.S. president stated that any negotiations with Iran are only possible upon its "unconditional surrender." After that, as he noted, Washington will work with allies to make the Iranian economy stronger than ever.
