Masoud Pezeshkian stated that losing even small territories is unacceptable
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, expressed the opinion that as a result of the current military conflicts, the borders of Iran may undergo changes. He made this statement in a conversation with journalists aboard the presidential plane.
When asked by reporters whether the map of Iran would remain the same after the fighting ends, Trump replied: "I can't say for sure. I can assume that it won't."
At the same time, one of the Turkish TV channels presented a possible version of a new map of the country in a program dedicated to the future of Iran.
On the proposed map, Iran is divided into several ethnic regions and potential states: "Southern Azerbaijan," "Kurdistan," "Southern Turkmenistan," "Arabistan," "Kashkistan," and "Balochistan."
Meanwhile, the central part of the country retains the name Iran, but within reduced borders.
The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, for his part, stated that the country does not intend to concede an inch of its land.
"We will not allow it to be seized," he added.
