The incident occurred on March 11 around noon when a plane arriving from Hyderabad was landing in Thailand. According to information from NationThailand, the front landing gear could not withstand the impact with the runway surface.

There were 133 passengers on board, and fortunately, none of them were injured. Everyone was quickly evacuated and taken to a waiting area.

After the incident, the plane remained on the runway, which effectively paralyzed the operations of the entire airport. The administration decided to temporarily close the runway to conduct the evacuation of the aircraft and inspect the damage to the surface.

It is estimated that the work will take about six hours. As a result, dozens of flights heading to Phuket were forced to circle in wait or be redirected to airports in Krabi and Bangkok.

According to initial reports, not only did the plane's front tire burst, but the landing gear itself was also damaged. The cause of the incident was determined to be a hard landing.
