According to the Thai PBS television channel, the number of victims from the collision of a passenger train with a fallen construction crane in Thailand has risen to 22 people. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning when a train traveling from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani crashed into a crane that had fallen onto the tracks at a construction site for an elevated high-speed railway line in the Sikhiu area of Nakhon Ratchasima province. The collision caused the train to derail and resulted in a fire in several carriages. The publication "Khaosot" reported at least four fatalities and about 40 injuries.

"As of now, the number of victims from the train crash involving the fallen crane in Nakhon Ratchasima stands at 22 people," the television channel informs.
