Currently, over 230 complaints from victims have been registered, and this number continues to grow.
The investigation preliminarily assesses the total damage from the activities of this company at around 20 million soms.
“We estimate that the number of victims in the country may range from 10 to 12 thousand people. The company operated through approximately 40 offices, each with 200–300 participants registered,” she added.
The scheme involved offering citizens the opportunity to earn up to 10 soms for viewing advertisements, with the possibility of weekly withdrawals to bank accounts. The minimum investment was 4,800 soms, while the maximum was 69,600 soms.
Some families invested a total of up to 1 million soms.
The investigation is ongoing, and it is worth noting that the 67-year-old founder of the company has been detained.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has repeatedly urged citizens to be cautious and not to trust promises of quick and guaranteed income.
