The most powerful flood in Southeast Asia: the death toll has exceeded 300 people

According to the latest data, the number of victims of one of the most devastating floods in Southeast Asia has already exceeded 300 people. Thousands of residents have been affected in countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.

According to information coming from Thailand, this flood, as estimated by specialists, occurs "once every 300 years." As a result of the natural disaster, 145 deaths have been recorded in the country, and the total number of affected individuals has exceeded 3.5 million.

In Vietnam, according to local authorities, at least 98 people have died as a result of the flooding. The damage to the economy is estimated at approximately 546 million dollars. Many families have lost their homes and sources of income.

In Sri Lanka, landslides and flooding have resulted in the deaths of 56 people. Thousands of buildings, fields, and roads have been submerged, and large-scale landslides have begun in mountainous areas.
